Born from a builder's frustration
Addresses of Distinction was founded in 2005 by Thomas and Reinhardt Cyphers — two entrepreneurs who kept hearing the same complaint from builders and homeowners: finding a truly quality mailbox was nearly impossible.
What began as a solution to that gap grew into something far larger. Through a commitment to craftsmanship and reliability, and through the strategic acquisition of three of the oldest and most established mailbox and street sign companies in the Southeast, AOD became the region's leading provider.
Today, with over 80,000 installations across neighborhoods and communities, our track record speaks for itself. But the mission remains the same as it was in 2005 — hardware that marks home, built to last decades, not seasons.
